Be grateful for the rain

It is amazing how you get things done when the rain comes. You aren't tempted to go outside and sunbath or go for a run. It forces you to do things inside that you have been putting off.

Another way of looking at is to say that the rain means the countryside is kept green. Which brings in tourists and money, and hopefully business for you.

This might seem extremely positive to some people who are struggling with flooding, but on the whole I try to be a glass half full person. Goodness knows I have had challenges over the last few years that have tested this thinking. I am grateful to my other half for all the hard work she does to support the family.

Luck can come by, when you least expect it, sometimes it can come pouring down on you if you are ready for it.

So make the most of the day no matter what the weather.
