Gratitude for something new in the rain

When you have kids to entertain in the rain a trip to the Zoo might seem like the answer. It is possible to have a good day day at the zoo even when it is raining. The Giant Pandas at Edinburgh Zoo are a great place to start, and then it is nearly alsways possible to find something you haven't seen before. This interests, educates and entertains them. With young kids the things they come out with, and find interesting is always amusing. It is great when you find somthing that really interests them, rather than just running you up the wall as they go stir crazy because they can't get out. Mind you in Scotland if you waited for the rain to go off, you could be waiting along time. Given the weather this year possibly even all month. I am really grateful to the people who set up and look after the animals, for providing a source of enterainment that really benefits kids. When you buy a season ticket that gets you into other zoos as well, you can really get the benefit of the facilities they provide. Not to mention truly getting value for money.
