Gratitude in beauty

I am currently on holiday in beautiful Ireland, and enjoying the beauty that surrounds me. This beauty is in the landscape and the warmth of friends and family. It is the recharge to my soul that I needed. After a difficult year it is good to see the Irish side of my family again. To thank them for their support and reassurance. Early this morning I was reading an interview in one of the Sunday magazines, in which the TV presenter Miriam O'Callaghan talks about the fundamental fairness of people and how the best way to deal with rudeness, or meanness is to meet it with implacable kindness. She is so right. This takes people by surprised and attracts others to you. When you can do this, you appreciate and are grateful for the beauty in what surrounds you and it helps you see the beauty in people. This then helps you ignore or block out the negative things that some people might say; helping you be more positive. This is something that I try to do, but I must admit don't always succeed at because I naturally worry about things. Even when these things are beyond my control. I am determined to work on this and right now the best way I can see to work on this is by getting a job to help look after the family. Which can then help me fund my hobbies that will improve our lives and get us where we want to be. Whilst at the same time, giving me back my confidence.
