Being grateful for your good manners

when life seems to get more and more expensive, it is reassuring to know that something you learned in childhood is going to help you get on. Recently the author of Gorgeous George and the Geriatric Generator, Stuart Reid was interviewed, and he said how proud he was when he takes his children anywhere as they are so polite. As he said manners cost nothing and last a life time. When someone show you bad manners, you can prove you are the better person by still showing them good manners. Bad manners don't have to necessarily be verbal. It can be simply when you blank someone in a public place. It doesn't take long to say Hello. I am very grateful to my parents for teaching me good manners. Life might be difficult in other ways but my manners help me get through. I am not perfect but I try. Avoiding someone because you feel you don't want to hear about how bad their life is; might be fair enough. It is possible to not get into conversation with them without being rude.
