Grateful for life

In the stillness of a cold and frosty morning, when I am out with the dog at 6am, the world seems peaceful. As long as it is not raining, I am grateful to be alive and enjoying the serenity of that quiet time before the hurley burley of the day. It is my time to talk to God, which might not appeal to everyone, but it is my way of what Darren Hardy calls bookending my day at the start. I need to feel there is someone out there I can speak to to help me through life and the difficulties we are facing. It helps me think about other people and what I can do to help them. When life is tough and you can see no way forward just start the day by being grateful for life and then think if there is someone you can talk to. When life is going well, be grateful to be alive and it'll start your day in a great way.
