I have just done my deliveries to my Kleeneze customers and am delighted with the amount that I got. It was great to meet so many pleasant and inspirational people.
One of my customers pointed out that it is Dickens' anniversary and her conversation made me visit Amazon to look up his works.
In the same way it is important to educate our children about the natural world, and that is where Sir David Attenboroughs great programmes come in, it is important to educate them about great literature. If only to have a better understanding of the world.
Dickens wrote about hypocrasy and poverty in the world that surrounded him. Unfortunately there is a lot of that around today.
I have had a hard time in the last few years but without the support of my wife, who I feel bad for taking her through it. Life would have been even harder.
I would urge you to take a look at the works of Charles Dicken again. If only to make you feel that whilst you have it hard, the characters in his books had it harder. They are without all the support of family, friends and health services we enjoy today.
A good place to start is the BBC collection
Happy Reading
