Gratitude for experiences that don't always work out

Life is full of experiences and some of them may not turn out as well as you might have hoped.

These are just as important as those that do, because they help you appreciate those that do, and teach you what to avoid next time you are in a similar position.

They can have unexpected benefits that in time can enable you to profit from them. As an example I spent some time selling photovoltaic solar panels. I enjoyed the experience, and met a lot of really pleasant people. The huge mileage meant that I did not break even. It did give me great understanding of the industry and what is involved. This has enabled me to talk unbiasedly and knowledgeably about them.

So when I am speaking to people who have them, I'm able to tell them about how they can make even more from their investment with Utility Warehouse, in a way that ties in with what they have been told by the installer. Since the government cut the Feed In Tarriff, the possibility of earning more from a supplier is appealing.

This is just one example of how it's possible to use an experience that didn't work out to improve your situation.
