Don't be scared to be an amateur

We are all amateur at something. I am not a professional blogger but I enjoy it. Sometimes it is good to do something that you don't get paid for like volunteering, or are an amateur at. I was Chairman of Fintry Amateur Dramatic Society and we put on some fabulous production including the Full Monty; which was sold out before we advertised the performances. The quality of performances that the amateur performers put on was and is amazingly high. We always had great fun. This is what I want to have with my blog. As I said I'm not professional at it, but it is fun and I am always grateful for ways of improving my ability to do it. One thing that a lot of people want to improve is their golf. A sport in the news at the moment with the Ryder Cup just starting. It is also a sport with some fabulous amateurs.
