Teamwork gratitude

When you work as part of a team you can feel supported and encouraged. If you are the lead person in the team you need to thank those in your team as a means of letting them feel valued. If you are not the lead person, you can use that gratitude to stop you feeling like just the support act. If your team does well then you too are making history. Sure everyone might be talking about the person at the figurehead, but without the other people in the team they would not have got there. Just as an athlete needs their team mates and coaches, a mother or a father needs the support and love of the other members of their family unit to help them move forward. There is no I in the word team, and everyone in the family unit, from the child going off to school, to the grand parent picking up, or looking after the child when they are sick, plays a part. They need to feel valued and Christmas is a great time to say thank you for their support. This gratitude for support should not only be at Christmas though. The special ways you say thank you to your team members through out the year can mean more. Especially when it is unexpected.
