Even world No. 1's are grateful for struggles

With Wimbledon fortnight now upon us again, the lives of the worlds' best tennis players are the focus of media attention. Novak Djokovic recently toured Scotland and sent pictures to his friend Andy Murray. In an interview with the Herald he told how even though he had gone through years of struggle, with the wars and obstacles he has had on his journey to where he is now, he has analysed what he's been through and believes that these things have made him stronger. Even his comments to people he met in Scotland about the possibility of Andy Murray winning a grand slam soon; is based on his gratitude and appreciation of how a career can change dramatically. When someone as talented as Djokovic expresses his gratitude for struggle and testing times; it makes me feel better. It goes to prove just how you need to be grateful for the tough times as well as the good. If you are then this will help you be ready for luck when it comes along, and mean you find the light at the end of tunnel. You might say it is easy for him to be positive about the struggles he has gone through now with his success; but I don't fancy having to grow up in a war zone like Serbia was. This gives us another reason to be grateful
