Be grateful for the opportunity to change
I hate being made to feel stupid when other people try and throw a spanner in the works. When you are learning by doing, it can be exciting, scarey but very rewarding.
As you go along there may come a time when you have to change direction, and this can be the best course of action. Only do it after examining all the options, particularly looking at what could happen to overcome the challenges you face on your chosen course. Rushing to judgement is something that can cause problems in the long term and leave you regretting it.
I am someone who can sometimes thinks the grass is greener over there, so let's go only to find it is not so good after all. When I do change I like to look on the bright side by learning from it and chalking the change up to experience good or bad.
Other people can force change on you. This can be frustrating, but if you greet it with gratitude and an open mind it can be great. In summary I would say feel the fear and do it anyway by assessing, considering, and being grateful for the opportunity to make a decision. To use another well worn saying, if every journey begins with a single step, to make that first step you need to decide to change what you are doing and move. If you don't change things in your life it could be said you never get anywhere.
